About the event
In this interactive playshop, educators will receive an exclusive preview of the June SEL Calendar theme, "Reflect & Shine: Embracing Leadership and End-of-Year Achievements." This month’s focus is on cultivating gratitude, self-reflection, and celebrating personal and collective growth as students wrap up the school year. Participants will explore how recognizing students’ achievements and fostering self-awareness can help them develop leadership skills and prepare for future challenges with confidence.
This playshop will model four hands-on activities from the June Calendar, formatted as a Morning Meeting/Advisory session. Each activity is grounded in research-backed practices to ensure that educators are implementing evidence-based strategies to enhance social-emotional learning (SEL) in their classrooms. You’ll discover how these activities promote gratitude, self-reflection, and leadership development while aligning with proven educational frameworks.
