About the event
Research demonstrates that when youth build Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills, their academics improve as well as their relationships and well-being! Within this interactive "play"shop, you will learn the basics behind Social Emotional Learning (SEL) as well as getting to experience for yourself evidence-based activities that are fun AND bring joy and deeper learning into classrooms and homes. Kikori is an educational platform designed to provide educators and parents with SEL activities that follow the experiential learning cycle. Even better, Kikori is teaming up with the New Hampshire Toy Library to show how you can build SEL skills with easy-to-rent toys!

Bryn Lottig and Kendra Bostick are co-founders of Kikori, a digital platform for educators and parents that aligns experiential education activities with teaching and social emotional standards.
Bryn Lottig is a sought-after expert in experiential education and an Adventure Program Coordinator at Arbor Vitae-Woodruff, an Expeditionary Learning school. Although she has over a decade of experience working with youth, she really refined her facilitation skills by working in the Leadership Program at Camp Manito-Wish YMCA for the last 10 years.
Kendra Bostick began her PhD studies in Education at the University of New Hampshire in 2019, with the goal of investigating how adventure and experiential programming can improve learning outcomes. Kendra previously worked as a School Social Worker as well as within inpatient behavioral health hospitals. Kendra is passionate about using play and reflection to support the needs of all students.
