ENLIST THE POWER OF PLAY with Kikori’s Easy-to-use Daily Calendar
Welcome to Kikori! Every month we share free experiential Social-Emotional Learning (eSEL) activities for educators everywhere. Whether you have 5 or 60 minutes a day to focus on SEL skills, our goal is to provide you with options for relevant, engaging activities EVERY DAY that are aligned to your students’ developmental needs. Our calendar is always designed with YOU in mind!
This May, our eSEL calendar focuses on Growth Mindset and ending the year on a high note! A powerful team building practice that is great for the end of the school year is called REFRAMING. While we can't change the past school year, we can use reframing to help our students change the way they THINK about it! What did students learn? How did they grow? Perhaps there were unexpected lessons, friendships or memories that could shape their journeys going forward! ✨
This month, we invite you to grow your mindset WITH your students through the May Kikori eSEL Calendar of activities that invites play, reflection and the building of growth mindset each day! ☀️

Since April we have reimagined the way we share calendars with our users. Kikori previously offered 3 different monthly calendars - our SEL Calendar, Morning Meeting, and Advisory Calendars. In order to streamline our process and make things crystal clear for educators everywhere, we now offer 1 monthly Kikori eSEL Calendar that you can access based on your grade level needs:
Kikori Elementary eSEL Calendar (K-5)
Kikori Advisory eSEL Calendar (Middle & High School)
The calendars share a monthly theme, and activities within the two clickable calendars are specially catered to that age range. If you want to specify for your student grade further, click on the correct grade level variation within the activity! We also encourage you to explore our “Variations” offered within individual Kikori activities.

How to Use Your Monthly eSEL Calendar:
As always, our eSEL Calendar provides you with daily experiential social emotional learning (eSEL) activities that you can facilitate with your students. Here’s what that looks like:
Start your day with a Morning Message or Advisory Announcement
Practice those ever-important social skills with Greeting Activity
Encourage connection with a Sharing or Acknowledging Activity
Facilitate an interactive National Day Activity (i.e. Pretend to be a Time Traveler Day, National Ice Cream Day, etc.)
Flex essential muscles with our Day-of-the-Week Activities for Mindful Monday, Together Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday and Fun Friday
