September’s Most Popular Kikori Resources
Curious what other classrooms reached for this September?
Here are the four resources teachers used most, all built around our Community-Building Superheroes theme. Each one is ready to print, project, or send home.
1. The September Calendar
A daily activity for every school day, pulled straight from our Experiential Connection curriculum. Each weekday has its own rhythm: Mindful Monday, Together Tuesday, Wellness Wednesday, Thoughtful Thursday, and Fun Friday.
Some days are quick and playful, like Teddy Bear Day and Talk Like a Pirate Day. Others build real connection skills, like Swap Ideas Day and Math Storytelling Day. A Back to School Intentions column on the side gives students a place to set their goals for the year.
2. The Teacher Appreciation Kit
A celebration activity for each School Staff Appreciation day. Students think about the adults who help them every day, write thank-you notes, and hand them to the people who make school run, from classroom teachers to the lunch heroes.
It’s gratitude practice and community building in one, and the adults in the building feel it too.
3. The September Parent Newsletter
SEL doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our Family Connection newsletter shows families what students are learning, the vocabulary they picked up, conversation starters to use at home, and activities to try together.
The edition featured this month covers responsible digital leadership, with words like “digital footprint” and “upstander,” plus questions like “What kind of reputation do you want to have online?”
4. The September Bulletin Board Kit
Bring the superhero theme to your walls. The kit gives you a ready-made September display that matches what students are practicing all month, so the
learning stays visible every time they walk in.
