“Autumn shows us how beautiful it is to let things go” ~Unknown We at Kikori are currently in love with all things fall -- the leaves, the holidays, and pumpkin-flavored everything! -- so for this week’s Share Out, we are talking about five of our favorite activities that will help to get you and your students in the autumn mood. These activities range in focus but, as a whole, provide you with ways to experience what we believe fall is about: spending time outside and showing gratitude for life and for other people.
Interested in trying one or all of them out? Download the Kikori App for full descriptions of each of the activities below. Additionally, for those looking to really lean into the autumn spirit, use your creativity to tailor them to what it is that you love most about fall (ex. Make your Scavenger Hunt Race a leaf hunt)! Mindful Monday: Five Senses Mindful Walk, a soothing exercise students can do on their own time. Together Tuesday: Sherpa Walk, an activity in partners that facilitates support (and is extra fun in nature!) Wellness Wednesday: Scavenger Hunt Race, an engaging energizer that can be done either face-to-face or virtually. Thoughtful Thursday: Appreciation Bag, an ongoing activity that makes it easy for students to show their gratitude for one another. Fun Friday: Chalk Challenge, a way for students to express their creativity while spending time outside. Download the Kikori App today to learn more about these awesome activities!
