Global Love Day each May 1st is a celebration of our humanity with the theme of "Love Begins with Me." It is hosted by The Love Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization established in 2000 with the mission of inspiring people to love unconditionally. Their vision is to assist people by building a practical foundation and understanding of unconditional love within individuals and society as a whole.

This week Kikori is partnering with The Love Foundation to bring the themes of Global Love Day to life with a brand new playlist of activities! This "Celebrating Global Love Day" playlist includes five unique activities for reflecting on unconditional love and inspiring students to share it. Global Love Day Art Project
Each year, in conjunction with Global Love Day, The Love Foundation hosts an open Art, Essay and Poetry Invitational. We encourage submissions to be centered on the themes "Love Begins With Me" and 'Celebrating Our Humanity" and other Global Love Day tenets listed above. Use these prompt to inspire creative expression through various art mediums!
Global Love Day Essay
In addition to getting creative with art materials, invite your students to use their words to connect the ideas of Global Love Day to their personal experiences! What new ideas come up through this writing project versus the art one?
